Need to Re-Coat Your Old GRP Flat Roof 

 

Due to Demand ,Apex Fibreglass Roofing have developed Kits To make Re-coating Your Old GRP Roof Simple .

Here you will find All you need to Re-Coat any GRP Roof .

Simply Wash your existing Roof With A stiff Brush and Soapy Water .(We do not recommend Jet Washing ) and let the roof Dry Off.

Sand The Old Topcoat With Sand Paper (40 Grit using a Sander )This will Key the surface to enable a bond back To the surface (Not Keying ,the new Topcoat Polyester Resin will eventually Peal away from the Surface).

Wipe Surface with Acetone To clean roof and enable the Old roof chemicals to Soften and enable a bond .

Then Simply apply your New Topcoat With a Topcoat Roller Supplied in the kit.

This would Be What can Be Achieved By adding A New Topcoat .

 

All Kits come with a standard  Dark Iron Grey Topcoat 

 

All Kits Will have the Correct Amount Of Topcoat ,Acetone ,Buckets and Tools , and 40grit Sandpaper (in 10m Rolls) to Complete Your New look Roof .
