The EPDM Contact Adhesive is a high-performance, solvent-based bonding adhesive engineered to withstand extreme temperature variations typical of flat roofing installations. Perfect for securely bonding ClassicBond EPDM membranes to both roof decks and vertical surfaces.

This strong adhesive ensures a long-lasting and weatherproof bond on multiple surfaces including timber, brickwork, concrete, PVC, and metal.

Application Guidelines:

1. Up-stands: Apply adhesive evenly with a 4" mini roller on both the up-stand and membrane. Let it become touch dry before bonding. For added security, apply a 150mm strip of adhesive around the deck perimeter to prevent membrane lift caused by shrinkage.
2. Non-permeable decks: Coat both the deck and the underside of the membrane evenly with adhesive. Allow to dry (5–20 minutes) until tacky, then bond firmly — repositioning is not possible once applied.
