While polyester resin is the most common pairing, it can also work with vinylester resin for higher chemical resistance applications.

Yes. Multiple layers of chopped strand matting can be applied during the lamination process. Adding layers increases structural integrity, thickness, and load-bearing capacity. It’s common practice to alternate matting layers with other reinforcement materials, like woven roving, for enhanced performance.

To apply: - Cut the mat to the desired size. - Mix and apply polyester resin to the surface. - Lay the mat over the resin. - Use a roller to remove air bubbles and ensure full saturation. - Repeat layering if required, then allow to cure. Proper PPE and ventilation are recommended during use.

Store the matting in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it in its original packaging or cover it to prevent dust and contamination. Avoid creasing or folding the mat to preserve its integrity.
